What is ProCLIPS?
ProCLIPS® is a hybrid between
a clinical database and an electronic chart. It was developed to facilitate
outcome analyses, to support a distributed transcription pool, and to help
track patients' charts. It can be used for many departmental operations
including quality assurance,
Using ProCLIPS could not be easier! Here's how:

These forms may be folded to create a handy pocket reminder of how to dictate each note. We even have helper notes to download to your US Robotics Pilot! Finally, if you send your name, address and phone to sales@proclips.com, we will send you a free pocket-sized laminated ProCLIPS dictation guide. |
It really is that simple! If you are already dictating your patient notes, you have nothing to lose. And, intuitive dictation formats are used, so it is likely that very that very little you do will change. In fact, take a look (Dictation Format Page 1) - you probably already dictate this way!
Why is ProCLIPS Important?
It is critical for cancer specialists to know the outcomes of all patients
they have treated. ProCLIPS is the only software tool that
provides that information, without creating extra work. No other registry
software has ProCLIPS' capabilities to function as both and
electronic chart and outcome reporter.
ProCLIPS® was originally developed for radiation oncology. It is adaptable for other cancer specialties including surgical oncology and medical oncology. It operates over numerous platforms including DOS, Windows 3.11®, Windows 95®, Windows NT® (3.51 and 4.0) and Macintosh®. It is designed around a networked relational database (FoxPro®).
In the largest ProCLIPS® installation to date, both Macintosh® and Windows® users are operating simultanously on over 40 workstations in an extented wide-area network routed between several hospitals. ProCLIPS generates all the clinical paper notes that are filed on patient charts. ProCLIPS can also construct rudimentary abstracts, calculate and print actuarial survival curves and perform numerous other helpful tasks. These include bar coding and tracking of both patient charts and treatment films, reconstructing patient charts that have been lost or misplaced, support for administrative review of charge levels...
ProCLIPS® has been in use for over 7 years. Currently, over 150,000 patients have been registered on ProCLIPS®-enabled systems world-wide.
ProCLIPS® is currently operating in version 2.6.25. Version 3.0 (Visual ProCLIPS®) is in beta. ProCLIPS® Single User version for Windows 95® and Windows NT® is available FREE for download without support .
